Kim Delaney was an American actress. She is most famous for her role as detective Diane Russell, in the ABC series NYPD Blue. For this she received an Emmy Award. Her first role as an actor was as a teen innocent in All My Children, a 1981 soap opera. Since then, Delaney has appeared in numerous TV dramas and films. Personally, her professional one has nt been successful and happy. She has also experienced two unsuccessful marriages and struggled with alcoholism. Her custody in 2005 was removed from her.
